Our Story

The challenge of finding healthy lunch options that your student would enjoy is a challenge that is familiar to most.
 
For the most part, I did not eat at lunchtime- as a matter of choice. I longed for food similar (in appearance and taste)  to that my mom or grandmother served at home.
 
My children were not fond of school lunches, they preferred a lunch I would prepare that day, before school. Often that lunch consisted of leftovers from a meal I had prepared that week or a repurposed version (e.g. chicken salad).
 
Eating healthy food is a key component of youth development- we embrace the challenge of preparing food that is healthy and delicious, food the kids love!
